Parole Board Cuts Filing Fee down to $50.00

The federal government is making it more affordable for people to get their criminal records suspended and get back to normal life after serving time or paying their debt to society after committing crimes in the past. The application for a pardon was $657.77, too much for a lot of people on limited incomes and barely making ends meet. But on January1, 2022, that fee will will drop to $50, according to the Parole Board of Canada.
